The Foundation

This is where the Divinity Rule begins.

Every discipline at Lund Studio rests on sacred geometry. The golden ratio (φ = 1.618) governs our layouts, our typography, our pricing, our product quantities, and our brand architecture. The Fibonacci sequence (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89...) determines our edition sizes, our page counts, our tuning intervals, and our growth models.

But sacred geometry is older and broader than phi alone. It includes the Pythagorean ratios that govern musical harmony. The Platonic solids that define all possible regular polyhedra. The Vesica Piscis that generates the geometry of Gothic cathedrals. The Flower of Life pattern found in the Temple of Osiris at Abydos, Egypt. The Sri Yantra of Hindu meditation. The Islamic tessellations of the Alhambra. Every major civilization discovered the same mathematical relationships and called them sacred.

Edition sizes, pricing tiers, product quantities, and growth targets follow Fibonacci sequences. This isn’t arbitrary — Fibonacci growth is how nature scales. Branches, petals, seeds, and galaxies all follow the same sequence.
Platonic Solids
3D Form & Packaging
Product packaging and physical objects follow the five Platonic solids: tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron, icosahedron. These are the only perfectly regular polyhedra possible in three dimensions. If your packaging can’t be a Platonic solid, it should at least know about them.
Vesica Piscis
Logo & Mark Design
The Vesica Piscis — the almond shape formed by two overlapping circles — generates the geometry of Gothic arches, Christian iconography, and the Lund Studio Four Marks. Our logo system is built on intersecting circles, not arbitrary curves.

Egypt
The Pyramids & Temple of Osiris
The Great Pyramid’s height-to-base ratio approximates φ. The Flower of Life pattern is carved into stone at Abydos. Egyptian mathematics was sacred mathematics.
Greece
The Parthenon & Pythagoras
Pythagoras discovered that musical intervals are mathematical ratios. The Parthenon’s facade follows the golden rectangle. Plato’s five solids define all possible symmetric forms.
