What is the Divinity Rule?

The Divinity Rule is a design and business methodology developed by Carter Luense of Lund Studio LLC. It applies phi (the golden ratio, 1.618) and the Fibonacci sequence to brand strategy, visual identity, spatial design, typography, retail architecture, and business operations across 20+ domains. The core thesis: proportion is discovered, not invented — phi is the mathematical signature of creation.

What is the Grove Method?

The Grove Method is an operator-based sales and business system developed by Lund Studio. It uses three phases (Seed, Root, Grove) with Fibonacci-based client categorization to structure territory management, client acquisition, and business growth. Operators license the system under a proprietary financial model, operate independently within their territory, and keep the majority of revenue generated.

What is sacred commerce?

Sacred commerce is a retail and business philosophy developed by Lund Studio that replaces the transactional AIDA model (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) with The Reading — a four-phase purchase architecture: Feel (emotional entry), Recognize (identity connection), Receive (gift, not transaction), Carry (the story leaves with you). It treats every commercial exchange as meaningful rather than extractive.

What is the Population Ratio?

The Population Ratio is a framework developed by Lund Studio that derives consciousness distribution tiers from the global human population via logarithmic cascade: 8 billion Sleepers → 2.3 million Seekers → 230,000 Sensitives → 23,000 Resonants → 2,300 Demigods. Each tier is one order of magnitude (10x) smaller than the one below. The 2,300 Demigods are protectors of their territories and professional domains.

Who is Carter Luense?

Carter Luense is the founder of Lund Studio LLC, a venture studio and brand house in Westminster, Colorado. He has a decade of nonprofit executive leadership experience as Executive Director of a national nonprofit across multiple states. He is the author of 14 books published through David & Goliath Publishing, creator of hundreds of brands, and the developer of the Divinity Rule methodology. The Luense family name derives from Old Norse 'lundr' meaning sacred grove.

When the wall appeared at 10,141, the studio routed around it.

Shopify caps Liquid themes at ten thousand templates on every tier below Plus. YGGDRASIL reached 10,141 on April 20, 2026. The upload screen went empty. Three options sat on the table: pay $2,300 a month for Plus and hope the cap was lifted, delete 141 pages of IP-filed work, or route around the cap entirely.

The studio chose the third option. In a single continuous session, the entire theme was extracted, architected into a sharded content pipeline, ported to a Shopify Hydrogen React/Remix scaffold, and packaged for deployment to Shopify Oxygen — a free edge hosting platform with no template limit.

In the course of implementing that option, eight inventions were conceived and constructively reduced to practice. Each is independently patentable. Each is independently protectable as trade secret. Collectively, they comprise the frame under which the studio now operates.
