Evolution System
You don’t evolve away. You evolve through.
In Pokémon, evolution replaces. Charmander becomes Charmeleon and Charmander is gone. In Spiritual, evolution absorbs. Each stage folds into the next. Nothing is lost. Everything compounds.

Spirit Animal
The raw guardian. The animal that chose you.
Your starting form. The creature that mirrors your soul before you knew you had one. Pure instinct. No mythology. No divinity. Just the animal and the player, recognizing each other.

Bonded
Your spirit animal merges with your identity.
You are no longer a person who has a wolf — you are the wolf. Your name appears alongside the animal’s. The bond forms through crisis. Your guardian almost fell and you protected it.

III
Ascended
A third layer absorbs into the mesh.
The personal becomes sovereign. A larger, more powerful animal folds into the bond. The Hawk becomes the Hawk-Eagle. The same eyes, but now they see continents. You cannot ascend alone.

IV
Mythic
The divine layer enters the mesh.
A god folds into the evolution. Norse, Celtic, Greek, Egyptian, or Hindu — depending on your realm. Most players never reach Stage IV. Those who do are recognized across the community.

V
The Return
We all return to dust. The final form is of this earth.
After ascending through sky, sovereignty, and divinity, Stage V brings you back to the ground. The Lion does not fly. The Lion does not need to. The fifth evolution is always an earthly creature. The most powerful card wins by enduring, not by striking. The final form is the homecoming.
