Sleipnir
all of nine nights,
wounded with a spear, dedicated to Odin,
myself to myself.”
Eight legs. Born of Loki. Ridden by Odin.
Sleipnir is the eight-legged horse of Odin — the fastest creature in all the Nine Worlds. Born from Loki in mare form after deceiving the builder’s stallion Svaðilfari, Sleipnir can travel between worlds, between life and death, between what is and what could be. He carried Odin to Hel itself and brought him back.
But “my horse is the gallows” refers to something darker. In the kenning tradition, Odin called Yggdrasil his “horse” — because he hung from it for nine nights, pierced by Gungnir, sacrificing himself to himself to gain the runes. The gallows tree was his mount. Suffering was his vehicle. The pain carried him somewhere knowledge alone could not.
Sleipnir is an endurance brand. Gear for people who understand that the path to wisdom goes through pain — that eight legs means you can carry more than anyone expects, and the gallows is just another horse if you know how to ride it.
Eight legs. Eight products.
How well do you know the eight-legged horse?
